How to play Tens or Better:

First, decide on the number of hands of poker to be played at the same time. The choice in this game is either two, three or four. Change the number of hands using the first selector directly below the cards. Use the '+' and '-' arrow buttons to change the number of hands to play.

Second, select the coin value for the bet. Select from $0.25 to $5.00 using the second selector below the cards.

Thirdly, choose the number of coins to bet for each game. use the BET ONE button to move between 1 and 5 coins. Each additional coin will increase the overall bet by the coin value amount. The pay-table multipliers will change as additional coins are added to the bet.

Once these parameters have been established, use the DEAL button to reveal the first hands.

BET MAX automatically sets the coin multiplier to the maximum available (In this case, 5) and starts the game.

All the cards are shown face down until the DEAL button is pressed. The first row of five cards are shown. The objective is to make the best poker hand. The player has the option to HOLD any of the visible cards, either by clicking on the HOLD button directly below the chosen card, or by clicking on the face of the card itself. Any winning combination of 2x10 or better will automatically be held. The player can reject a suggested hold by clicking again on the HOLD button, or on the face of the card that shows already held.

When a card is chosen as a HOLD, the rest of the cards in that position in the remaining hands are displayed and are all of the same number/suit. E.g. if the player chooses to hold an Ace of Diamonds in position 2 then all the cards in position two in the remaining un-played hands will display as Ace of Diamonds.

Once l cards to be held have been chosen, the player is required to click the DRAW button. The cards that were not held are replaced by new cards in all the hands to be played and any winning combinations are shown.

To add the winnings to the account balance, the player will click on the COLLECT button, or, if the desire is to play another hand, REBET will add the winnings to the account and also DEAL the next set of cards for the new game.

The player also has the option to DOUBLE the pay-out from any winning game by clicking on the DOUBLE button.

If the DOUBLE button is chosen, all cards are removed and a new set of 5 cards is displayed. The first card of the 5 is turned face up and the player then has to choose which of the remaining 4 cards has a higher numeric value than the one shown.

Once the choice is made the player clicks on the card they pick and all 4 remaining cards are revealed.

If the player wins, and the chosen card is of a higher numeric value than the original card then the players winnings from the previous game are doubled. The player now has the option to DOUBLE the new winning amount using the same method, or COLLECT the new winning amount.

If the card chosen during the DOUBLE option is the same numeric value as the original card then the result is a push and the bet is returned. The player can choose to COLLECT or try again.

If the card chosen is of a LOWER numeric value than the original card then the accumulated winnings are forfeit and the game is lost.
